We could not be prouder that our very own Korrine Herlth was honored with the Dr. George Ducharme Disability Specialist Award at the 2025 Annual Awards Ceremony at CT State Community College in Manchester, Connecticut.

This award recognizes students who embody Dr. Ducharme’s legacy of inclusion, advocacy, and optimism in the disability field, values that Korrine strives to carry forward in her own life and work. To be selected for such a meaningful honor, especially one rooted in community, connection, and impact, is truly amazing and a recognition of Korrine's passion and dedication.

Korrine said, "I’m so grateful to my professors, mentors, and everyone who has supported me on this journey, and a special thank you to my family for always standing by my side. This is just the beginning, and I’m excited for what’s to come as I continue working toward a more accessible future."

Korrine, keep moving forward in your journey, we are sure you have great things ahead!
